We went to this animation festival. In the dark of the theater I took her hand and held it for about an hour. Then I began rubbing it with my thumb. I wanted her to know how much I liked her. We touched fingertips, interlocked fingers. Finally, I brought her hand to my lips. I turned it over so I could kiss the middle of her palm. She pulled our hands to her mouth. Then she put one of the tips of my fingers into her mouth. I will always remember that moment. I went crazy. That’s all we did that night: hold and kiss hands. That’s how I knew I’d marry her. We still spend a lot of time holding and kissing hands.

Our sex lives will be revolutionised if we can learn to linger at second. This is the base of knowing the other. DO NOT SKIP IT! Don’t simply tag the base and sprint to third. Build the excitement. Let your body get aroused. Back away from the arousal. Let it get aroused again and again.

At some point you’ll decide you are ready to go further. You’ll grab your partner’s hand and you’ll head for third base.
